 How long before my wedding should I book my stationery?

  • You can book your stationery up to 18 months in advance. The earlier you book the better so that we can book you into our design diary, as spaces tend to fill up very quickly.

I have seen a design I like on your website but it does not match my colour scheme, can I change the colours to suit my needs?

  • The colours featured on our website are simply colour option ideas. If you would like a different colour combination please let us know and I'm sure we will be able to accommodate it. For us to get the nearest match possible you will need to send us a colour swatch of your colours.

I want different wording than is on the invitation of my chosen design.

  • We can alter the wording on all invitations to suit your wedding. There are many styles to choose from on the wording section of the website. When placing your order you should indicate which style you would prefer on each of your stationery items.

Can I choose my font?

  • We have a selection of fonts that you can choose from, however if we feel that the selected font does not match the chosen stationery we will advise you which font would be best.

How long before the wedding should I send out Save the Date cards?

  • Save the Date cards are an especially useful product if you are getting married abroad, at a busy time or have a lot of people to invite as they give your guests advance warning of your wedding date. They are usually sent out 9-12 months before your wedding date.

How long will my order take?

  • Your order for wedding invitations, evening invitations and RSVP will generally take around 6-8 weeks from receipt of approved proofs by Kismet Crafts. Delivery for any remaining stationery items are generally 4 weeks from the receipt of proofs. These times do depend upon the co-operation of the client in their submission of information to Kismet Crafts in a timely manner and by the dates set out in the production schedule. Times may fluctuate and those quoted are subject to change.  Clients will be given more accurate timings upon placing their orders.

What should I order?

  • You will need to order one wedding/evening invitation, RSVP and Save The Date per couple/family or single person. One Order of Service/Day per person but if you budget is tight you can order one per couple. Each person will need a place card for seating arrangements. You may want to consider ordering Menus, one or two for each table, or if you want to send out menu options with your invitations we can do a smaller menu card. You will also need a wedding gift notice card, this can either be to notify guests where you have placed a gift list e.g. John Lewis, or to request money or vouchers. We would also recommend that you consider sending out Thank you cards to match your stationery, again one per couple/family or single person. We suggest that you order a few more than you need in case you make any mistakes and also to cater for changes to your guest list.

Is there a minimum order?

  • There is no limit to the amount you can order, we will cater to any wedding no matter how big or small.

When should I send out my invitations?

  • You should send out your invitations preferably 8-12 weeks before the wedding date. It needs to be this long as you need to give people enough time to be able to reply.

We are having a civil ceremony so we don't want a formal Order of Service, is there an alternative?

  • Yes, if you are having a civil ceremony we suggest a less formal Order of the Day. If you require an Order of the Day instead of an Order of Service please let us know when ordering in the special instructions box on the order information sheet.

Can I return my order if it has been delivered and get my money back?

  • As each item of stationery is handmade to suit your wedding with your specific text and colour requirements we unfortunately cannot offer refunds or exchanges once work has commenced on your order.

What payment methods do you accept?

  • We accept cheques made payable to 'Kismet Crafts' you can also pay through our website using paypal.

How will my order be delivered?

  • Stationery orders are always dispatched in two parts, with all pre-wedding stationery items being sent out first and then followed by the wedding day stationery items. All of our orders are dispatched using Royal Mail special delivery, DHL or an alternate suitable courier. Kismet Crafts reserves the right to use the most appropriate method of delivery for your order. 

Kismet Crafts cannot be held responsible for items that are lost or damaged in transit.

I am having difficulty placing an order or requesting a sample online.

  • If you are having any difficulties at all when placing an order or requesting a sample please send an email to weddingsamples@kismet-cards.co.uk and we will sort you order and send you a paypal payment request, once this has been paid we will send out your chosen sample.

Do you do table plans?

  • Yes we do table plans to order and to match your chosen stationery. These range in price from £25 to £50 depending on the style and decoration.

Do you print guest names on invitations?

  • Yes we can print guest names on your invitations. This is 20p extra per invitation.

Are envelopes included in the price?

  • White envelopes are included with our stationery unless otherwise stated. If you would prefer a different colour envelopes please let us know and we will see if we can accommodate this although there may be an extra charge.

Will my card details be secure?

  • Yes. All card transactions are handled by PayPal through a secure server connection. We receive notification of your payment from PayPal and therefore will never see your full card number. Look out for the padlock icon in your web browser which will confirm that your connection is secure.
