Hi Everyone!

Well yesterday was the Pembrokeshire Wedding Fayre and what a fab day it was!

Apparently over 180 brides signed the register but there was probably alot more than that....well it felt like it lol

It was so busy, our stand was busy all day with only 5 minutes here and there, the compliments on our products was great and a real boost to our ego's lol, we had loads of interest with quite a few consultations booked.
The show also helped us think up new ideas for our handmade and DIY ranges.....I can't wait to start making samples....oooh and getting to use the Hot Foil Machine more and more!


Our next event will be the Wedding Fayre being held at The Longhouse in Freshwater East, Pembrokeshire on March 21st 2010.
The organisers are the owners of the Longhouse which is an excellent Wedding Venue...A friend is having their reception there in August this year.
So if you are in the area please come along and take a look at the venue and our stand.....oh and of course the gorgeous beach!!

Well we have just got back from the UK's biggest Craft Trade Fair held in the NEC in Birmingham, what a fantastic few days!!!

We saw so many fabulous new products and could have spent a small fortune but we resisted lol, although we did make lots of new contacts and should be recieveing lots of catalogues and samples of some gorgeous papers, card and embellishments.

We bought lots of new products for our craft website ( www.kismetcrafts.co.uk ) from the Hunkydory and Debbi Moore ranges, which should be arriving sometime in the next few weeks....and I can't wait!! There's lots of new embossing powders, Print Magic, Enamelling Magic, Metal Magic, Gems and CDRom's from Debbi Moore, and from Hunkydory we will have lots of their beuatiful kits including the Fairy Daydreams, A Window to the Heart, Monochrome in Style, Butterfly Jewels, Perfect Parisienne, Butterfly Dreams Monochrome and the new Pink Butterfly Dreams Kit as well as all 3 colours in the Diamond Sparkles Ultra-Fine Crystallina Glitter.

But probably my most favourite purchase of my entire life so far (maybe a bit over dramatic lol) is my amazing Hot Foil machine!!!!! I'm so excited and have been making up all kinds of sample cards and foiling them....OMG they look amazing!!! So now I will be able to do dark colour inserts with light coloured writing, I will be able to do almost anything my customers want on their Wedding Stationery and in any colour scheme! and best of all I won't have to take a Calligraphy Course lol

I would also like to remind any Bride's to be that we will have a stand at the Pembrokeshire Wedding Fayre on March 7th 2010 which is held at the County Showground in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire from 11am to 4pm.
We will also have a stand at the Wedding Fayre being held at The Longhouse at Freshwater East, Pembrokeshire on March 21st from 12pm to 4pm.

We will be producing sample invitations with our Hot Foil machine which you are quite welcome to take.

Wow! What an amazing few weeks we've had!

A few months back we heard about a few local Wedding Fayres that were taking place and so we decided it would be a great opportunity to show our range and what we do. So on September 6th we took part in the County Wedding Fayre which was held in the Brithdir Hall at the County Show Ground. We had a great day and great feedback from everyone that came to the stand as welll as making some new contacts with other local wedding related businesses. We are now featured on the Pembrokeshire Wedding Fayre website and would like to thank Maura, Tom, Beryl and Huw for  organising such a wonderfull event!

Then this weekend just gone (September 13th) we took part in the Cleddau Bridge Hotel Wedding Fayre and again had a great response. Again we would like to thank all the staff at the hotel for organising such a wonderful event.


Thanks to these events consultations and orders are rolling in.....it's great designing all the theme related stuff and seeing all the different colour schemes!

So far Black and an accent colour is very popular especially Duck Egg Blue, Turquoise and Fuscia Pink!!!
We've also been asked alot for Snowflakes and Butterflies....both great fun to design!!

We have already decided to take part in the Spring Wedding Fayres, the dates are as follows:

SUNDAY March 7th, 2010 at the Withybush Showground, Haverfordwest.

11am to 4pm, Admission is FREE.

and

SUNDAY February 28th, 2010 at the Cleddau Bridge Hotel, Pembroke Dock.

12 noon - 4pm, Admission is FREE
